If you would like to limit the amount an individual can earn in a calendar year to avoid collecting or managing tax forms, you can utilize Reward Rules per Campaign.
Reward Rules
You can optionally create a Reward Rule per campaign to set limits and other reward settings, including the Yearly max total amount limit for each contact in a campaign.
When a new reward is created for a campaign with this limit enabled, the system will check all reward transactions for the contact in that campaign and the calendar year, then automatically deny the entire reward if it puts them over the limit.
For example, with a USD program, if you input this limit as $1500:
- A contact has $1400 in reward transactions for the current calendar year
- A reward is created for $100 → The reward is ok, as it reaches the $1500
- A reward is created for $200 → The reward is automatically denied as it would put them over the limit.
